I Plan To Drive To Ny From Chi-town And What You Think I Need For My Tch Car?
Mine Has 1500 Mines On Itand So Far Had No Problem And I Luv It!

Thr Drive Is Very Long But I Wanan Enjoy It With My New Tch Anyway.

You Think I Should Carry Some Extra Engine Oils With Me?
What Else? Anti Freeze And Other Oils?

What's Your Suggestions?

Is your car burning oil now? Because mine never did and I had done 2 oil changes so far, one at 2500 and 2nd at 7500 and that was it. The only thing I can think of would be some good window washer, the blue stuff your car came with will freeze on the windshield until the engine is warmed up so you can run defroster and that can take up to 5 minutes in subfreezing temperatures. I used pinkish RainX last year and that stuff doesn't freeze and you can start driving right away. If you do have Navigation system, I would suggest you program your destination points as user set POI (point of interest) so you can set guidance faster. Just have a safe trip and enjoy your ride. BTW as far as I now transaxle oil is not really something you can add or change on the road yourself and the only other liquid is coolant which also should not cause you any problems.

Take $100 for gas money. 41 gallons or so.

That's it!

You won't hit 5000 miles for your 1st oil change. No other maintenance will be required.

Take some warm clothes and a cell phone just in case you hit a snowstorm. Double check the tire pressure and oil level and you will be fine.

The only bad part of your trip will be parking in New York. Having lived there for twenty years, I got used to the multiple dents in my doors and fenders. Parking attendants love to open doors at least two inches into the car alongside. Get used to it and enjoy the city.

New York's slogan: Welcome to New York! Now go home!

Just kidding.

All you need is a well-stocked iPod to enjoy the trip. Send us a postcard.
