Toyota 0W-20 at $5.92/qt???
Hi all,
I went to a Toyota Dealer this morning to buy some oil and filter to do my 10k oil change. I was kind of shocked to hear the person telling me that the price for 1 quart is $5.92. I asked her to check the price that I paid the last time I bought from them in June. And it was $4.57. When I asked her why is it so expensive now, she said price of motor oil has gone up across the board. After that she sold them to me for $4.65/qt, I think because I bought 13 quarts, enough for 3 oil changes.
Has anyone heard about the price increase for motor oil? Or has anyone bought oil from Toyota recently?
Anyway, just wanted to share my encouter.

I also paid a little less than $5 per quart for 0w-20 toyota synthetic oil a couple months ago.
