Default Tint and XM

Ok so I took my Camry to get the windows tinted today and totally did not think about the XM. Well I got 15% and my XM and Sirius are both cutting in and out. Anyone else had this issue? The XM is factory and the Sirius is not. Sirius is run though the aux jack.

What about my cell phone? I have no problems with that.

I just went outside and moved my Sirius antenna to the trunk. It is magnetic, but it looks like the factory XM antenna is not.

It is not the % of tint. It is the tint material. Your guy probably used metallic based tint, so the is reflecting the XM/Sirius signal. All previous threads about tinting stated that non-metallic tint was the best way to go.

Dang it. I will have to call him to do something about it. Wife does not like the antenna on the trunk.
