Default Timing belt/chain replacement

Hi,

My '09 TCH recently just turned 60K miles old. I went for a service and I was surprised to learn that the timing belt replacement was not included in the scheduled maintenance. In the older toyota I replaced, I was getting timing belt replacement every 60K intervals. Did they prolong the life of these belts or did they make them durable as they no loner needs replacing?

Default Re: Timing belt/chain replacement

you do not have belt. timing chain is engine lifetime.
serpentine will need to be replaced at around 100K.
