IMHO, much fuss over nothing. Do I like the ads as stickies? NO! Do I read them? NO! Will it drive me away? NO! Do I like ads in the newspaper? NO! Do I read those ads? Rarely. And I pay to receive the daily newspaper. I almost cancelled my newspaper recently due to its editorial position...but that is a different story. Would I pay to use this site? NO!

Any time I have a computer issue I am unable to resolve myself, I do a search for a solution, and frequently find a site that wants me to pay to be able to read the solution. And then I wonder...will the solution be accurate? Will it guarantee the fix I need? NO! So I refuse to pay for forums. The ads are a necessary evil. I don't like them, but they will NOT drive me away. I have been an active member here for about 4 years...I see no reason to change that. I am much more agitated by some political issues than I am by some ads on an auto fourm.
