Default TCH Prices Drop??

I just looked at the Fitzmall site. It looks like prices are now almost $2,000 below invoice. Are others seeing the same price drops at other dealers?

I'll have to check but that sure would be a sign of tough times.

Auto manufacturers are teetering on bankruptcy.
Sales are plummeting.
The only thing falling at a faster rate than Toyota's auto volumes are their hybrids.
Yup, prices should be lower and will probably fall further.

A month or so ago, I could see a number of Hybrids sitting in dealership lots, but now they start to dissapear again slowly with gas approaching $2/gal ... well, wait until summer and see which vehicle prices drop faster than TCHs...

I am in the SF Bay Area and the cheapest gas in our town is $2.23 and has been going up the last week or so. Thought I saw somewhere here many moons back that the dealers make their money on the repair side more then the sales side? True or False?

They're advertising $2000 cash back here in NorCal on all hybrids. Ends Tuesday 2/17

Rebates, if I'm not mistaken, are regional. Up in the NE area, I believe it's 1500 on hybrid and 1750 on the gas Camry

Hi Karen,

I would say this is probably true.

Just bought my 09 TCH this week and yes, more than 2k under invoice was easily achieved. Times are tough...There was no shortage of interested dealerships to sell me a car.
