Stares...
Today I was able to do a little more driving, because it's my son's 2nd birthday and I went up to his daycare with cupcakes, then I drove over to the dealership to return the non-functional fob & pick up our real fob, and then I drove a friend/colleague home. My FE on the tank is now only 28.5
. Oh well... still learning, and only have 30-something miles so far.
So, one thing I noticed several times is people staring at my car. No kidding, at a traffic light I happened to look at the car in the left turn lane and I am almost 100% certain that the front seat passenger in that car was literally staring right at my Hybrid badge. This happened more than once today. I think it is probably the color that gets their attention, and then they see the Hybrid badges...
Funny!

I don't believe you can get a good "cold" tire pressure until the vehicle sits for 2-3 hours after being driven 1 or more miles. (Yes, tires heat quickly when driven!) This means your dealer probably won't have time to get an accurate reading if you're just stopping by for a few minutes. I keep a guage in my glove box and check the tires before I drive the car in the morning. And no, not every morning. I do check every 2 weeks or so.

On the TCH side panel, it says the tire inflation pressure for a fully loaded car should be 32 or 33 PSI. I'm just wondering why many ppl on these forums are jacking up their PSi to hi 30's if not 40s.
I've read that too hi a pressure can promote uneven tire wear.
