I finally drove my 3 month old Camry Hybrid in rain today! I have been avoiding it trying to keep the car nice and clean, and being retired it was easy.

I did notice that the wipers that come with the (Canadian) model seem to squeek a lot. I imagine it has more to do with the wiper maker, but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this, and if anyone has a solution. It is too annoying to not do something about it. The noise is like someone rubbing rubber on glass, not mechanical noise.

My previouse Camrys had very little wiper noise.

 

Try taking a cloth, put a little RainX water repellant fluid on it and then rub the wiper blades several times. That should end the squeaking.
