The estimate for repairs is about $7500. Yes I have to pay a $500 collision deductible. The auto body person said the whole floor of my car has to be replaced, along with panels, etc. Bits of my car were falling off as she poked at it.

I think I will stake out the intersection later tonight with my camera. Thanks for the tip, citizen detective. Sorry to hear about everyone else's accidents. I know I'm whining over spilled milk in comparison.

 

If it helps at all, I understand completely. A week ago someone vandalized my new 2008 Camry Hybrid in a lit parking garage by deeply keying it from front to back , top to bottom, on one side of the car. The repair was over $2500 with a $500 deductible (my cost).

The only good news is that car repairs these days are impressive, with results that rival cars off the lot... be sure to use a well-recommended repair shop.

 

Sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to my prelude luckily I wasn't in the car. That guy can run away from you but he can't run or hide from Karma.
