Security options
I took delivery of my TCH (nav, leather, etc) last week (yippee!)
At the time, it didn't have a security system installed. The dealer mentioned that they had one that they could install (I assumed it was the VIP system) -- it was $490.
I took it in yesterday to get it installed and they put in a KARR 4040a system.
How does this compare the to VIP system functionality wise? Price wise?
One problem that I'm having is that if the car is locked (push button on handle), then I walk up to the passenger door and open it, it works fine. Walk over to the drivers door and open that -- sets off alarm. Is it just misconfigured?
Any info appreciated.
