Headwinds of 30-40mph are a FE killer too. About 4mpg on a 200 mile segment.

Bill: On the other hand tail winds of 30 to 40 mph can help FE.

Also in rain, I have found that the IQ factor affects my FE.

IQ = Idiot quotient, I.E. people who have no clue how to drive in less than optimal conditions.

Keep in mind, that FE suffers across the board on ALL cars during rainy periods. So keep that in mind.
