Portfolio Warranty?
I dont mean to rehash all the old posts on the extended warranty but I am curious about something...My TCH is three weeks old and I was reading the brochure the dealer gav me on extended coverage. It is a Portfolio Plan B extended warranty and says on the back in small letters..."...coverage is not affiliated with or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer" THIS is not th Toyota Platinum Warranty right??? and they quoted me $1600...crazy....

Sounds like a private company is providing the warranty. They're acting like an insurance company, paying for your repairs. Not a big deal, unless they go out of business. Google the company and see if they have any complaints, etc.
