[poll] What tire pressure do you use?
Just wondering...
(I made an error in the brackets, so use the higher number choice as part of your bracket, so if you use 35, select 32-35 not 35-40)

I'm not sure how to answer this poll. You should not have overlapping values on your responses. For example, I use 40 PSI. Does that go into 35-40 or 40-42? Something like:
32-35
36-39
40-43
32-35
36-39
40-43

given that there is a large number of votes in a wide range (35-40) should we create a new one with more precise ranges, such as 35, 36,37, etc?

Re: [poll] What tire pressure do you use?
If you're going to do it again, I might suggest at least attempting to do something tire model specific--maybe say "based on max pressure of x for the Bridgestones and y for the Michelins (or z for whatever replacement tire you may be using), what pressure are you using for your tires?
a) max pressure
b) 1-2 below max pressure
c) 3-4 below max pressure
etc. That would probably give a clearer picture since you shouldn't even inflate the Bridgestones to pressures people are using for the Michelins, so the straight number method would be a little unclear.
What do you think?
Oh--one more complication: lots of people have a difference of about 2psi between front and back.

How about...
What PSI do you use
What PSI do you use
- MFR recommended PSI
- MFR recommended +(1-3) PSI Front and Back
- MFR recommended +(1-3) PSI (less 2 PSI in the rear)
- MFR recommended +(4-6) PSI Front and Back
- MFR recommended +(4-6) PSI (less 2 PSI in the rear)
- etc
