Default Passenger side mirror (attacked by turkey)

Hello everyone,
I was attacked by an angry turkey yesterday on my way to work and it tore off my passenger side mirror!
(OK actually it just flew into the side of my car while I was driving @ 55MPH)
For some dumb reason I have my deductable at $500 so I will be paying for this with my own cash. Does anyone know where I can find Cheap OEM parts, like the whole mirror assembly? They quoted me about $170 I think.
I was even considering just replacing both mirrors with the folding mirrors on Ebay, any thoughts on that?
Thanks for any input!!

Mike

e-bay also has OEM power mirror listings for the 07+ Camry. Prices are $30-80 range. Most seem unpainted - suppose that's the extra cost. Or, you could go with a chrome cover ones if you go for that look.

Wild turkeys fly reasonably well - it's the domestic turkeys inbred to maximize breast meat production that can't fly or mate

They're really amazing birds, with surprisingly little in common with the domesticated varieties. Not the sharpest tools in the shed, but pretty cool nonetheless.

We have lots of them around here - but they usually just seem to be wandering around - and you're right - they don't have the sense to get out of the way of oncoming traffic.

You should see the darn geese over here...sometimes traffic is completely stopped because they don't get out of the road and the fire truck has to come and spray them with the hose...most of the time I just drive slowly toward them the see of geese parts!

Sorry to hear about the turkey incident Raven...

I didn't know you needed to "geese" your car. I thought only an owl change was necessary.
