Default That **** Panic Button!

Has anyone else noticed that the panic button has a major flaw with it? It is not recessed, it sticks out above the frame. Atleast once a week with the keys in my pocket I lean against something or just sit down and it sets the panic alarm off. All of my other remotes including the one for my 07 Tundra have a recessed button and have never gone off.

My Camry was a year old yesterday, and I've never set it off. Maybe you need to quit trying to squeeze into those jeans you squeezed into in college.

One more reason I always keep my fob in my _jacket_ pocket!

I've had mine now for over a year and a half and it have never happend to me. You might want to carry your keys in a different pocket or some where else if it keeps up.

The panic button on my fob does not stick up above the frame. I've had mine for over 1 year and have not had any problems.

I have never had mine go off either.

I do have this bad habit, though, of playing with the fob in my pocket while I am wearing dress pants at work (well, Dockers, not that dressy). I constantly push the key release button on the side of the fob, and "click" the key back into place. People probably think I am playing with something else!

Maybe my button is just weak.

I can count 5 other remotes I have had from past cars on the same ring and never had the problem. I do not keep my fob seperate though, it is on the ring with my other keys.

I meant to mention that - I carry ONLY the fob in my pocket. I have no other keys attached to it.
