It's hard not to be a bit smug... A friend was bragging the other day about using only 8 litres per hundred KM in his new Nissan X Trail... I said I get pretty upset when my FE drops to 5 litres per hundred... definite smugness.

 

I had my first true smug moment last week. I was with my family on vacation and driving my parent's minivan. At one point I turned to my dad and said, "You're gas engine doesn't seem to turn off, you might want to get that checked out." Thats when I realized that maybe I should get a "smug" license plate.
