Default In the nick of time!

Hello Everyone!
Just picked up my magnetic grey TCH on 9/27. On waiting since 5/26 and paid msrp in NW suburban Chicago. I am so glad to have made the 9/30 deadline.
I've been lurking here for months, Thanks to everyone for all the valuable information.
I purchased Weathertech floor liners and front plate bracket. Bodyside moldings and mudflaps are on the way. Planning to do snow tires and 18" wheel/tire package.
I 'm at 283 miles and 39.3 mpg!
See Yaa!

Congratulations! I can’t imagine the stress that you must have been going through. I got mine delivered 9/08 and that was close enough for me! Although it takes a little getting used to, you’re going to love your new Toy.

Hi Paul,
Thank You so much for the welcome. I'm in Palatine. Contacted several dealerships also, ended up making purchase at Schaumburg. I feel so fortunate I was able to get one prior to 9/30. I have been driving my wife crazy talking about the TCH and the upcoming deadline. Anyhow, just loving it so far.
And no doubt, Steve V. is the best!

Just picked mine up with 8 days to spare b4 the 30th Sep deadline, fully loaded nav and all, I just had to wait 93 days to get it.
However, a sad story to follow:

While in park at a Micky D's drive thru enjoying my music on hybrid batt power waiting 4 my food I feel a light tap on my rear bumper.

With 378 miles on it, a driver reaching for the wallet let go of their brake and kissed my bumper.

Just be carefull and enjoy the new car smell.

I just picked up my gold TCH on 9/30 here in Baltimore - talk about the nick-of-time! Really enjoying the car in the three whole days I've had it :-)

I feel another McDonald's lawsuit coming on (is there a lawyer out there)?

I also got mine (super white, base) on 9/30. The wait was 2-4 months in CO but they were available with little to no wait in the Las Vegas area, where I went for a wedding. At the same time, a dealer in western KS had 16 TCHs according to their online inventory.
