new tires
well it was bound to happen sooner or later (was hoping later!), some knucklehead cut me off and I had to swerve to get out of the way and I scraped my wheel on a curb and put a tear in the sidewall of the tire - car seems to have come out OK otherwise. No leak even but I am replacing the tire. I ordered 2 new Michelin's from tire rack - figured to hold onto an extra... (as the OEM tire was onsale for $89 each)

Has anyone replaced their tires yet? I am concerned about bringing it to where I usally get my tires replaced and them not knowing about how to deal with the tire pressure warning system. Is there anything special that needs to be done, or just using the same wheel with the valve and transmitter attached will suffice...
