Other than bringing the car to the dealer, a little patience is your only alternative. The beeps last approximately 30-45 seconds (not sure, I didn't use a stop watch), but after a period of time, they stop. Sometimes knowing that an annoyance is only for a set time frame makes it a little more bearable.

If as you say you wear your seatbelt all the time, how is it you are hearing the beeps?
Please explain because seriously I don't understand.
