Default New Engine Block Heater P/N pu1400900?

I just ordered an engine block heater for my '09 TCH from the dealer. $37. But the part number he gave me is pu1400900. He said that it was the newest number. I can't seem to find any verification. Anyone?

They said it would take a week to come in.

Re the part number for the block heater.

At the time I bought mine, there had been quite some disagreement posted in this forum as to the right part number. The number may have changed previous to that.

Here is the part number info from my block heater:

When I went to the dealer and ordered mine, in September 2008) September they looked it up by application to the 09 TCH, and gave me an order slip which said, "item #001130021300900" and an invoice which said, part number "00213-00900."

The box it came in (from Toyota Canada) said, PU 140-00900.

I just picked up the part I ordered. It has on the box PU140-00900 but on the bill, it shows 0011300900 and the instruction sheet says 2007 Lexus. Huh?

At least the part number on the box is the same as mine; so it should fit and work.

And I neglected to mention the bit about the Lexus reference on the instructions.

Good luck

It is the right part number. Heater installed and working.
