What after-market NAV unit works well in the TCH? I bot without NAV unit-just stock low end JBL- unfortunately!! Had the dealer install the ipod/blue tooth option to use iphone 3gs; limited ipod control, terrible voice command via mike installed overhead...would like to have better control/options. Any ideas/help?

 

I've a Magellan 4250, and it's worked well. It has Bluetooth (not used in the Camry, as I have the JBL stereo with 6 disc), but have used to good advantage in the our van. Got the Magellan last year as a refurb for < $100 at CompUSA. The only downer has been the (relatively) stale maps, but upgrades are notably le$$ at $70 or so at Magellan site than the Toyota nav map updates.

I'm biding my time until the new Droid phones (which have Google Maps) can be had for a more reasonable price/network cost; $30/mo that Verizon wants for a PDA add-on is not worth it to me.
