My First Problem with my TCH
No loaner.
~~~~~~~~~
Today, when I called to check on the service status, I was told they could not reproduce the problem.
They said Toyota has documented only two (2) other TCHs with the complaint and they put the part on order from California.
When I picked it up this afternoon, I had to remind them to DISCONNECT THE HORNS AGAIN so I would not have to on my way home.
~~~~~~~~~~
I had them do the 15,000 mile service.
They used the 0w20 Mobil 1 I provided.
There's a sticker on my windshield noting it's due for another oil change at 17,899 miles or April 16.....

The dealer replaced the part under warranty.
It's slightly different than the original equipment item.
It still has the empty "s-horn" socket, but is missing the original exposed copper piece at that location. Photo: https://www.greenhybrid.com/share/sh...atid=newimages

I haven't had a chance to test, but the s-Horn and the 20a A/F are missing in my TCH also, but the 3rd, 10a fuse below them is marked Horn and the manual mentions it as being for dual horns. That might be the one we are interested in.
