Default MP3 Playback

Recently purchased an aux cable so I can play my MP3 player through my stereo. After making the proper connections, I have to turn the volume up to max to even barely hear it playing. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know that I have to pick up a filter to eliminate the hiss.

Seems like you're not matching MP3 output to TCH input, do you have separate headphone and line out jacks? try either but make sure you keep volume very low first with headphone out. You do know you can burn MP3 data disc and that should play on your car? 700 MB CD can hold a lot of MP3 music, probably more than 100 songs.

What model do you have? I have an IPOD 80 GB. I crank up the volume on my Ipod and then adjust the volume of the vehicle accordingly. It should work the same way.

Make sure you have the Ipod volume up. I usually have it at around 90% to 100% depending on the song. Anything less and you have to crank the radio up too high causing hiss...and a shock when you switch to FM or satellite from the blast.

Thanks for the feedback, it turns out that my MP3 player's volume was turned down.
