Well my TCH just hit 11,800 miles and today I experienced another strange sound along with an alarming vibration. As I came to a stop on a slight incline and the engine switched from gas to EV, I suddendly heard a loud rapping sound (like something catching in a metal fan) from underneath the hood of the car. It included a sputtering vibration that lasted at least three seconds. This was like the chuttering problem at a magnitude 5X. Has anyone else experienced this disturbing phenomenon?
The car picked up speed as normal when I accelerated again. This was very annoying to say the least. I guess it is another trip to the dealer to try to prove this happens.
