Let me say up front before you get ticked, I'm not stereotyping women!!!
I know that many of you ladies though probably do not wax your own car, if you have them waxed at all. My early memories of car ownership still brings dreaded thoughts of waxing my car. It used to be hard work and I'm no longer interested in hard work. However I just waxed (polished actually) my TCH and I wanted to share this with you. Lazy men can look into this as well.
I tried Zaino Bros Polish a few years back mon my blue 350Z and fell in love with the shine and the ease of use. If your car is new and clean this stuff is EASY to put on and take off. You get the satisfaction of doing it yourself, save big dollars over detailing and get it done right.
Their website http://www.zainostore.com/ has the products available. You simply wipe it on, let it dry and wipe off the haze. No heavy rubbing. It has no abraisives meaning your car should be clean before you apply it. I prefer to use it on a new car before the paint starts to weather. Read up on it on the website. If you park outside you'll really need to do this more often but with a little work your TCH can look as good as new for many years( except for the dings some of you are already reporting)
By the way, I don't sell this stuff or am not affiliated with Zaino in any way. I simply use it because it works and it's easy to use!

I wax my own vehicles -- always have, though I admit it was a lot easier with a '92 Toyota Corolla than it is on the FEH. I personally use Maguiar's Tech Wax but I might try Zaino at some point. I'm certainly familiar with it, just haven't tried it... have plenty of Maguiar's available for awhile.
Zymol. Best stuff I've ever used. Extremely easy to apply and wipe off (unlike that old Turtle Wax I used to give myself arthritis over.
I won't be switching, but thanks for the tip on Zaino. I'll giver a try if they ever quit making Zymol.

hey, who you callin' a lady????
i have always done my own waxing and washing, too. for a long time i was single, so i got used to doing my own stuff. plus, most car washes do a terrible job of it.
thanks for the tip, even though my honda is grey and hides dirt, it still needs a shine now and then.
