Default Just Answer dot.com

Well, I was reviewing the service manual for brake bleeding procedure and I came across a warning that the ABS relays have to be disabled even when the car is completely off. This is turn will set DTC's and a warning lamp that must be disabled by the Toyota Scan Tool, which I don't have.

I came across this website called www.justanswer.com Apparently they have 15 or 20 ASE certified Toyota Technicians online who answer any question you have... for a $15 donation.

Considering it takes $115 for my local stealership to basically do ANYTHING, I think this is a fantastic concept and I hope I get a good answer and a workaround for changing my fluid. The front section of my reservoir is looking a little ganky and a bit more brown than the section that feeds the rear. I'd like to change it.

My brakes arrived today. I know it's not a scientific analysis, but wow, the rotors really look to be high quality, just going by the machine finish and surface treatment. The ceramic pads came from a place called centricparts.com They claim that some special secondary process eliminates the need for bed-in. We'll see..........
