While we were out getting ice cream to combat the horrid heat wave this evening our dealership's Inventory Manager called and left us a voicemail. He said that he has received info for this allocation and they have allocated one base model Jasper Pearl TCH to them. He said, "Of course, I will really believe it when I see it show up in the inventory system..." He also said we will be the first in the area to have a green one .

It will arrive at the dealership at the end of this month or the first week of August depending on how the shipping goes. He said it will arrive at the same time as the gray one, so we will be able to see both.

 

awesome - see, good things come to those who wait... you were meant to be in green! My IM also called today - mine should be there in the next day or two - I should be driving by the end of the weekend... congrats...

Congrats! The wait you have coming now is easier than the wait when you have no idea when it will arrive.

 

I also got a phone call today! My Jasper Pearl with NAV has been allocated - although they said not to plan on delivery before mid/end August.

My husband and I are currently in the process of adopting from China and as that stretches into an endless wait it was so very nice to get this call. At least there's an end in sight for at least one thing that we're waiting on.

Yay - it should be here before my birthday!!!

Congrats JK! And Curlylockz, congrats on two accounts for you! I have a friend who has been waiting for a placement in a domestic foster-to-adopt program and it is a long, hard wait.

Pbanks, we test drove on the Saturday before Memorial Day and gave them our deposit on Memorial Day, so it is now 7 weeks I think. How long have you been waiting?

 

Placed my order on 5/30 so close to the exact same timeframe for me as Lilarienne...

I only recently placed my order (7/8) and the paperwork quoted 7/31, but I knew that was probably optimistic - so it looks like another month for me
