Regarding the difference between power sunroof and moonroof, I don't know the dictionary definition (which you could google), but I'm with the impression that for all intents and purposes, they are used synonymously.
The ONLY difference I might think is that a moonroof may slide back, but may not have the option to tilt up for ventilation while the glass is in the forward position. I'm still dubious on this point, due to the fact that I'm CERTAIN I've had vehicles over the years where the manufacturer called it a moonroof and it was still able to tilt.
As you recall, at FIRST a sunroof was simply a piece of glass that could pop up to add a bit more ventilation on the roof of a car, hence my reason for thinking there may be some difference.
Overall, I'd guess that it's wordplay among different auto companies. Similar to how some companies call their manual shift automatic transmissions 'Tiptronic' and some call them 'Steptronic'.
