Hybrids available in Southern California
South Bay Toyota presently has 3 hybrids in which have not been sold, a white one, a red one and a gold (I think it is called Desert Sand).
Anyone interested should contact Nick, the sales manager or Tina, the Fleet manager.
South Bay doesn't gouge like Carson Toyota.

As a sidenote, when I went in to South Bay Toyota to test drive the TCH in late May, the sales manager told me it might take until the 2008 model year (when the hell is that - next spring???!!!) for them to procure a loaded Blue Ribbon Metallic/Ash leather....plus, he mentioned there were only 2 available packages - base and loaded - so, NO chance to get one "semi-loaded" (e.g. without the moonroof, which is what you're getting).
Strange how the stories change depending on who you deal with and when. I ended up going with Longo Toyota, which "only" took 8 weeks. Completely agree with you about Carson. I suppose they can afford to charge above MSRP because of the size of their in-stock hybrid fleet....it's still unethical, but completly in line with classic capitalism.

I have been dealing with Tina and she has been great. She told me that if I waited for what I wanted, I probably would never see it, so she contacted corporate and placed a special order.
