How many have you seen?

In Kitsap County it's still all trucks and vans. Big tires and loud noises. But gas is getting just too pricey for a normal guy to afford those rigs, and I wonder how they're feeling about their big machines now. My best buddy with an F150 says he's spending $250 a month on gas now, and he's no long distance driver. Also, all the lots on Auto Center Way have their trucks out, front and center, with special prices galore. Big changes happening.
By the way, I've never seen so many motorcycles on the road. Frugal transportation, but I did motorcycles for years long ago, and feel lucky I survived. Nowadays I want airbags all over the place, VDIM, parachutes - whatever they got.

Have only seen one TCH in the DC area, a grey one, besides my white TCH. This area is the Prius capital of the world, owing to the HOV-lane access in VA - although new HOV plates stopped being issued there for hybrids on 7/1. That after protracted whining by HOV lane users that hybrids were "choking" the lanes. Seems we must make way for our gas-guzzling brethern who were getting very annoyed that people who are civic-minded enough to buy a responsible vehicle were also receiving a reward.
My only complaint with TCH - I can't plug it in.

This morning I spotted my second TCH in Silverdale. Barcelona red - a fine color, set off nicely by the white lenses at the rear. It helps to see a car in motion, in traffic, to know what it really looks like, and the red is great!
Today was the first time mine was at the pump at the same time as a "new" TCH in town: https://www.greenhybrid.com/share/fi...0/5/4/2tch.jpg
I finally saw my first one besides mine. Oddly enough, it was in the parking lot at work, but it had Illinois plates. I suspect they were just visiting - I was hoping it was another employee I could compare notes with!
