How to clean coffe stain?
Me and my friend went to get breakfast and to make long story short whole cup of black coffee was spilled on passenger side carpet. I was able to clean floor mat very well, but trying as hard as I could , I can't get rid of the stain from the floor carpet. I used 3 different carpet cleaning chemicals and nothing helps. Any suggestions? I'm ready to go to the dealer and order whole new carpet section, but before I do that I figure I ask here. This is the first time I ever had such a mess in any of my cars and this is really making me sick to look at and there will total ban on any kind of food or drinks once I get this fixed
but in the mean time is there anything else I could try to clean it?

I used a carpet steamer like this for a similar stain:

My wife spilled an entire cup all over the passenger side seat and floor from our 2000 New Beetle a few years back. I was beside myself about it, I went out and spent 200 on neoprene seat covers so I wouldn't have to look at the mess anymore. Still not sure how she accomplised that.
Before we sold the lemon... er.. I mean car (a whole other story) we decided to steam clean the car to see if it could be toned down a bit. The stains were old too, like 2+ years by that point. We used the hose attachment from the steamer, we pretreated the stain with the hoover spray, and it worked perfectly. In fact it worked so good that the upholstery looked almost new when we were finished. I now use it to clean the interiors semi regularly.
Also, the carpet steamer works great on carpets in your home
Id say go get something like the above, it will most likely work. If it does not work, simply return it.

Here's another idea for you. Use a shop vac (or, maybe, one of those huge vacs you find at car washes) and some water. Get the stained area moist, rub it around a little, and then SUCK that stain out. You might need to repeat a couple of times. It works on red wine on a beige carpet; it might work for you.
I have taken it to nj carpet steamers and they cleaned the stains with the help of steam cleaning method.
