I see now that the mats are only included in the NAV version of the car.

I could have never imagined a manufacturer would sell a car without them.

I got my all-weather mats at Sam's club for $20, and they are great.
Fully agree. I find the rubber mats of Sams to be durable, well constructed and CHEAP. It has lasted very well in my Accord and Odyssey and I see no sense in paying $200 for mats.

Well, I already bought the nice carpeted color-coded mats ($200), because I wasn't paying attention at the dealership. If I'da looked closer at the invoice, I might've said something. Those dealers sure are sneaky. They sold me mats and a cargo net, without me knowing. I feel so duped.

I'm thinking that for the winter, I'll take the nice mats out and store them, and get some rubber ones from Sam's Club to handle the sloppy weather.

Um, I have the nav version, and it was still listed as a port installed option.

We have NAV and the mats would have been another $200. We ordered some from the Texas place along with some other things. I'll report on that experience when they arrive. I still think it is chintzy to not give you the mats for free when they are delivered with the car and they are making a bundle with most of us paying MSRP. Laurie

When I follow the "Build & Price Your Camry" link on www.toyota.com (w/ a Texas zip code), mats are not included in the base price (exactly as ag4ever pointed out). Granted, I haven't tried an alternate zip outside of the Gulf States distributorship but:

(A) Mats are not on the Camry's official S/O/P features list (see attachment)
(B) The Costo Auto Program site (www.costoauto.com) lists these so-called mats as options on all 3 distributorships (Gulf States, SouthEast and Nat'l)

Now, having to pay extra for a cargo net is a different matter altogether!!! It is part of the TCH's standard features (again, per Toyota's site and the attachment), but apparently some distributors are charging for it separately... or at least that's my conclusion to date, see a separate thread I tried to open a week or so ago (to which there were no replies): https://www.greenhybrid.com/discuss/...ad.php?t=10763

I asked my dealer. Toyota's official line is they want you to select All-Weather or standard mats so they are not part of base pricing. Most dealers have found over time that the majority want the carpet mats so they just put them on. If you request the all-weather, almost any dealer will swap them out and adjust accordingly.

I finally got around to taking my car in to get the mat replaced (since the "Camry" patch fell off within my first week). The dealer told me he has suddenly had a bunch of customers whose "Camry" patches have fallen off. He of course is replacing my mats free of charge...
