We finally took possession of our TCH last week (most every option available here in the USA). Since then we've put 18 x8 chrome wheels with a +40mm offset and Avon 225/45/18 tires. Had the dealer move the TPMS stems over and no problems. The speedo is about 4mph slow at 60mph against a Garmin GPS. The odometer seems almost spot on.
Just put the 4300K HID's in today and had the windows tinted with 3M non metallic this morning. Still waiting on Carson Toyota to get those Japanese accessories in (window shades and the blue lights under the carpet). Hoping to install some fog lights and a backup camera in the very near future.
Additionally I'm interested in the 'Park Assist' that is available in Canada (is this just the radar or is it the parallel parking assist feature seen on Lexus here?).

Don't worry about typos - we all make 'em
Your car looks beautiful - I like the tires/wheels.
I didn't know there was a parking assist option for the TCH
I'm anxious to hear how you fare with the fog lights - especially how you do the switch
What's the car under the car cover???

It's the Interior Footwell Light Kit.

Looks great. Do you have any pics of the new wheels from the side? I'm interested in how "flush" your new wheels are to the fender side. I went 18x8 +45 (Lexus GS430 wheels) because I wasn't sure if +40 was going to be outside the fender with the wider tire (235/50) that I planned to use. Turns out I might have been able to go with your specs 18x8 +40 after seeing my finished mod.

I just took a front and rear view. When I look tops down from the center point of the fender well, the tires are tucked under and aren't visible. They do stick out where the fender curves in but still looks good IMHO. The tires are the Avon Tech M500's. They seem comparatively quiet when contrasted to the stock tires.
