Default Feedback on JBL Stereo (NAV vs Non-NAV)

Similar to the previous poll, except I would like to see if people notice a difference between the NAV and non-NAV versions of the stereo.

Hamm3r,

I think that you'll have trouble getting feedback in this poll since people have either a car with or a car without the Nav system. I could be wrong, but I doubt many people have done a comparison of the two sound systems.

Sorry Hamm3r,

Just noticed the poll options. You're not asking people to compare the two, just rate the one they're familiar with and compare the results. Like they used to say on the tests in school: "read the entire contents before answering".

Interesting segregation, but we have double the number of votes on the previous poll than this one so far. I hope more people vote on this one!

I've had my Titanium TCH for 7 weeks now and never had it at max volume until today so I could answer this poll. The only distortion was to my ear drums. The music was perfect.

My college student sons claim it's a great system, and they would know much better than I.

NAV or non-NAV?

If you say non-NAV, it means a lot regarding whether the systems are the same.

I thought they were the same, other than NAV only has 4 disc changer to make room for NAV DVD

There are varying thoughts on this matter. It very well could be they are different since the nav version is more space constrained. Somebody had posted their understanding the amp for the nav version is elsewhere in the car. From a manufactureing standpoint, it would make sense if both units shared most of the same components. I dunno...I turn up the volume and music comes out. Works fer me.

I know I test drove the non-nav it is was awesome. The JBL was clean, deep and rich all the way through its volume range. I have a TL now and the DVD-A 5.1 system in that car is good, but its power tapers off by 3/4 through its volume and does nto have the depth or richness of the JBL near its extremes.
