Hey, has anyone tried these out? I found the link on another site and it said that the maker will be making a radio overlay.

These are still "prototype", the second generation prototype is being tested now. It's the same guy BlueBat that makes the smoke tail light overlays that I started a thread about.

Ah, is that what causes the "discolored" look starting at the top doing about 1/3 down? What does that do for you?

No, the discolored look is just a light reflection in the photo. We are talking about that small little sliver at the top of the headlight, the same color as the body color. There is no performance upgrade, this is simply an aesthetics thing, no different than my smoked tail lights.

Back in the day these Puerto Rican kids used to do that with a 30 cent roll of colored electrical tape and a fresh razor blade.

I hope the first article 'prototype' development costs weren't too much.

At the risk of repeating what others have said... WHY?
