Engine "shaky" when stopping
Hey All,
I've had the TCH for a few months now, and have got it up to 6000+ km. Everything has been great, except for a few squeaks I need the dealer to fix.
However, one thing that concerns me is how the engine sometimes acts when it is stopping. So, let's say the car is on and I park it for a minute. After a few seconds the ICE will turn off, but right before it does, the engine sometimes starts to get 'shaky'? It is almost like it is having some sort of struggle, and it makes the whole car shake a bit (for just a second), and then it turns off. It only happens when the ICE turns off while the car is at a stop.
If the ICE was on and I turned the car off, there is no shaking... it just 'dies' immediately. This problem only happens if the car is on. Most of the time when the ICE turns off while driving OR at a stop, there is no 'feeling'. You just hear the engine turn off, but no violent-ish shaking right before it does.
anyone else have this problem, or have an idea of what it can be?
Thanks!

I just means it did a Stage S3a shutdown.
Perfectly normal.

It can also shudder doing a Stage S2 shutdown but that is more rare and from your description does not apply to your situation.
