Hmmm not sure how to reply to this one. I don't use the A/C all the time, but when I do, I usually have the ECO enabled.

We've had some pretty hot weather here, high 90s and humid (it's a wet heat) and haven't found any reason not to use it.

Temps in TX are just below 100. No problems using ECO here.

My MPG is so good right now, and I like it cold so I am holding off trying the AC in ECO mode, but I will try it eventually.

If your MPG is "so good", why not give it a try and see if you can make it even better?

Seriously, it has been very hot on a few days here (around 90 and humid), and I just leave it in ECO mode. I don't know if I could really tell the difference - so I don't think it is necessary to try it.

Has anyone run a tank of gas w/ ECO vs w/o ECO? I wonder what the MPG difference would be?

In 118 degree Phoenix weather, the ECO mode works quite well! (I do have window tint, however!) Other than a test of enough miles of trying non-ECO mode to see that it does lower the FE a tad, I leave ECO on always.

I have not noticed a diff in Phoenix, ECO Mode or not, on either MPG or coldness of the A/C.

It's been plenty cold with ECO on, and in the three or four minutes I have driven with ECO off (by accident) I did not really notice any sort of difference.
