I assume you kept the stock struts, as I'm unaware of any aftermarket struts for the TCH?
Thanks for the experiment. If I can get my mechanic to do them at $60 per spring, I'll have it done very soon.
I love my TCH, but the suspension is positively nauseating.....

You just reminded me of a point I wanted to make. I knew the TRD springs were going to give me a stiffer ride, but what I forgot to take into consideration was that I run my tires at 40psi for FE purposes. The combination of TRD springs and 40psi tire pressure makes the ride extremely bouncy. Now my daily commute is 90% highway, and even the local roads I use are very well paved, so it's borderline bearable for me. But if I was driving on a surface that had any kind of bumps in it, then I doubt I would be able to run 40psi. I'm already thinking of dropping to 36psi to see if that feels better. Of course, I'll probably lose 0.2 -0.5 mpg in FE, so I'll have to find that right balance for me. YMMV.

Dropping the front end requires re-aiming the headlights. Right?

Well, I dropped the entire car, so the headlights should not be that far off. If I ahd dropped only the front, then I guess the headlights would be pointed too far downward. Since the rear also dropped (although not as much), I'm hoping the headlight direction is still OK. I have yet to drive at night (first time will be tonight) so I guess I'll know soon.

One thing I will definitely have to do after a couple of weeks and letting the springs settle is getting a 4wheel alignment.
