Ontario also requires front and back. The front plate is also a big pain because it gets mangled in no time with stones hitting it, and is always filthy with bugs. I've put a clear plastic cover on mine to protect it.

 

I can't believe anyone leaves the dealers license plate holders or stickers on their car. It amazes me that you spend your time and significant $ on your chosen vehicle and allow the dealer to put his billboard all over your car. Have a small bit of pride in your purchase and clean it up.
