Default What are the differences between Nav and Non-Nav Camry Hybrids?

Is the only difference between the nav and non-nav Camry Hybrids strictly the Navigation unit or are there other small "benefits" that come with the unit. I t I read a thread where there was additional mileage info if you got the Nav system?

For example, the Civic Hybrid also comes with a Digital Audio-Card reader.

Trying to decide if I want that Nav system since I already use a Garmin that I upgrade regularly anyway.

Yes, you get additional mileage information with the NAV system.
There is an a graph/bar chart that plots your last 30 minutes of milage.

Additionally, the NAV package comes with:

- Leather
- Phone/bluetooth connection
- Heated seats
- Premium Stereo

Both models have Bluetooth, but the non-nav version has some limitations. Both have a "premium stereo", though the NAV models have only a 4 CD changer versus a 6 CD changer in the non-nav models. (The former apparently is made by Denso, while the latter by Panasonic. They use the same JBL amp.)

Thanks for the replies people. Can you elaborate on the Bluetooth limitations in the non-nav models? I'm wondering if it will affect how I use my phone or if it makes sense to hold out for the Nav model.

This came from bluetoot.pdf. I paid www.tundrasolutions.com $25 for a one-year membership. There, I was able to download the TCH owner's manuals & a lot of other related manuals. If you're trying to decide between NAV & non-NAV, I'd pay the $25 and read through everything. You'll get WAY more info than you are likely to find here. Anyway, here's just a snippet. I expect you will have to reformat it to make it readable. Sorry!

Bluetooth is a short-distance, high-speed wireless data communication system that uses the 2.4 GHz
frequency band prescribed by the Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group).
This system enables drivers to place or receive phone calls using a cellular phone without releasing their
hands from the steering wheel.
The Bluetooth hands-free system is installed on both the ’07 Camry Hybrid model with the navigation with
AV system and the ’07 Camry Hybrid model without the navigation with AV system as optional
equipment.
The Bluetooth hands-free system of the ’07 Camry Hybrid model with the navigation with AV system can
be operated by touching icons indicated on the radio and player with display.
The Bluetooth hands-free system of the ’07 Camry Hybrid model without the navigation with AV system
can be operated by turning or pressing the control **** of the audio head unit.
The major difference between the model with the navigation with AV system and the model without
navigation with AV system is described in the following table:
