Default Communications from Toyota

I registered with Toyota Online but am surprised I haven't received any e-mails from them. Usually, I am not interested in getting e-mails from manufacturers, etc., but given the nature of the vehicle (and the ease of sending out e-mails) I'd assume there'd be some communication.
Has anyone been receiving anything from them?

I keep getting emails from the dealer pushing to give them an "All Excellent" review when I get my survey.

5 months here and nothing yet.

Thinking back, I probably opted out of receiving promotions, wanting to receive only real news and important notices.

Maybe there hasn't been any real news.

Not a single snail mail, e-mail, or call since purchasing the car. I have had two oil changes, an XM upgrade, and a warranty claim at the dealer. I'm also registered on the Toyota "For Owners" website. This is the first car I've owned where I didn't at least get a dealer satisfaction survey.... I guess your J.D. Powers numbers won't go down if you don't ask....

The dealers like to send junk (coupons, etc.), but I'm amazed that with a car like this (a hybrid version of one of the world's most popular cars) and all the 'buzz' surrounding energy efficiency, that Toyota doesn't have any mailings (snail or e-).
I do get other dealer junk, like the ones asking me if I want to trade the car in, etc.
Dealer satisfaction survey came after one month.
JD Power survey came after 2-3 months
