Did mine yesterday, pretty much a breeze thanks to Bitter's tips above regarding the Acc outlet. I also did the sliding armrest from the XLE, which was a little tougher due to the baby seat in the center back which I didn't want to uninstall, so it made for a tighter working space.

I was thinking if you found a totaled XLE in a junkyard, you could probably take the entire center console and put it in the hybrid, getting the wood grain paneling in the process. MIght be a big expensive if you do it with new OEM parts, though.

According to my receipt, the part number for the new tray with lid (SE model) was:

T60/5562506060

I'm not sure what the T60 part is for, but most Toyota parts are two five-digit numbers separated by a dash, so you might call a dealership and ask for

55625-06060

I'd love to do this, but I have the Anniversary edition and the finish on the cover wouldn't match, unless they make one for it that I am not aware of.

I got the part last week and put it in, this was one of the great disappointments I had with the interior. Looks great, thank you for the info. Now if somebody could figure out how to get the auto down / up drivers window switch.

TCH80226,

I've just got to know.

What, exactly is a "high speed license plate frame" ?

A frame especially for a high speed license plate ?
(and does a high speed license plate give you license to speed ?)

A high speed frame for an ordinary license plate ?
(and does that make your license plate faster ?)

A license plate frame that somehow lets your car go faster ?
(reduces drag ?)
