In BC, Toyota uses "Access Pricing". This means that you get no discount whatsoever and pay the same MSRP as everyone else. A TCH with B package is $37045 in BC. Going to a broker, I got a 500 discount but have to wait 6 weeks. Still deciding if I will buy now or wait for an 08.

$1800 over invoice is too much to pay. If the car is in dealer inventory you should be able to negotiate 'invoice + $300'. That is what I paid for my TCH with B pkg. back in August 2006.

Are you located in Canada?

I see those kinds of deals in the states but in Canada it is tough to get that kind of deal at the moment...

Update - Got it down to 1150 over invoice but have to wait until end of July.

Looks like it is better to go with a 08 model if I have to wait until end of July. Dealer said they are stopping to produce 07 in June. So 08's will arrive late in August.

Hopefully they will have more features.. Wishlist backup camera...More leather colours (Black??)

Did anybody do better than this price recently??

If you wait for the 2008 model you might not get the additional $1,500 govt. rebate that was just announced recently in the Ontario budget. My guess is that the posted fuel efficiency is going to drop to around 6.5L/100KM.s making TCH ineligible for the new rebate.

You should be able to get the TCH with B pkg. in Ontario for $39,500 ALL INCLUSIVE (inc. FPDI and taxes). I suggest you check the inventories of small town dealers around Toronto (e.g. Cobourg, Belleville, Kingston, etc.) and make a firm offer of $39,500 to those who have unsold TCH in the lot.

You will get $3,500 back from govt. in Ontario, and estimating $6,000 in fuel savings over 10 years, your net cost for loaded TCH is $30,000...less than the cost of a base Camry LE!!!!! Enjoy.

Small correction the $1,500 rebate is federal not provincial.

Why do you think the fuel efficiency will drop to that extent?
