I really don't see how this would increase anyones whiplash potential unless you're not keeping your head on the headrest or have hunchback. I think I will try that but I think the back side is not as soft as front, maybe trip to the junkyard is in order before I embark on one of my marathon trips, like non-stop 16 hours NY - Fla.
