During the spring I would often turn on the air through the vents with the A/C off. Several times I would find my hands getting cold from having cold air blowing on them. Looking down I would see the A/C was now on.

Has anyone else had the A/C turn on spontaneously? Unfortunately I can't remember whether the system was in AUTO mode, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't.

 

I have found that just turning on the fan to pull in some outside air automatically turns on the AC. I am not sure, but I think that the dealer can shut off this annoying "feature."
