Anyone paying less than MSRP for Camry Hybrids in 2007?

Re: Anyone paying less than MSRP for Camry Hybrids in 2007?
I live in Loveland and ended up going to Pederson in Ft. Collins. The thing to tell your Boulder Toyota or better yet your Denver dealer that you live in Denver but you're looking elsewhere, they want your business to remain in their area because they get a "bad mark" or some kind of negative reflection on loosing business outside thier district. Pederson tried hard to keep me and I got mine fully loaded (leather, nav, moonroof, HD floor mats, side molding) complete before taxes out the door for $29,695 before delivery and taxes. Hope that helps...

We got our 07 in June. The sticker was $32,500 and we ended up out-the-door (including all taxes, fees, etc.) for $31,500. I think that equates to about a $2,500 discount off of the sticker. We got ours at Desert Toyota in Las Vegas and I would recommend them to anyone. We went through the internet sales people and it was very painless.

Paid $28,500 for a loaded ($30,929 MSRP) TCH in Minnesota. This was outside of the Twin Cites metro - metro dealers were all at MSRP with very, very little stock.
A little less than $1K over invoice, but a fair deal in my book.

I paid $28,250 for loaded 2008 TCH (with Nav, Leather and Additional VIP Security option) Silver Color, in Everette WA.
(Invoice was 28,400.00, amd MSRP was $31k+)
Dealers out here in WA area are just not ready to go below "their" invoice (which includes holdback, and ad charges) even though Iam buying a 08 in Feb 1st 08 when 2009 is coming in few weeks down.
I also got 7 yr / 100k Warranty for $960 (Know its little bit xpensive)
Did i get a good deal ?

On the other hand at least I got the full $2600 tax credit, so that was basically my "discount".

Don't be so sure of that--when they first came out they were hard enough to come by that there really wasn't any negotiating room. I had to call every dealer in my area to find one who'd have one in less than 2 weeks (up to 2-3 months) that wasn't already claimed. You can't really tell the dealer "well if you don't give me the price I want I'm going to go somewhere else" if it's the only one available. I had to pay MSRP, not sure how likely it is that many people paid less, in those early months. I bought mine mid-June 2006. Not sure when they became common enough to start negotiating on the price.
