Aloha Ladies and Gents.... and anyone else i missed....

I just wanted to introduce my self. My name is Jon I live in Hawai'i, gas is $4.05 a gal. (as of today. May 30, 2008) and I am trying to do my part to help the eco system get back some. This is my first Hybrid, and I am now starting to love it. Like everyone else I hate the stock wheels, but not sure if I want to up grade. I get about 38 mpg and love that.

I just wanted to say hi and remember what is said here is all in fun. Theres a reason I am the Riddler.

Welcome to the club. I personally don't hate the stock wheels. This is my first hybrid too and thanks to this site I had plenty of information to decide to get the TCH and pretty much all of my questions fter I got it have been answered.

 

Hey Jon, congrats, you'll love the car. I've had mine for 2 years, with 32,000 miles on it already, and with the price of gas rising daily, I have never regretted the decision. When sitting in traffic daily for 3-4 hours on the H-1, I am so happy I have a hybrid, except when sitting for too long, the engine comes on because I refuse to drive without the air conditioner!

What color did you get?

 

Congratulations and welcome! It's our first hybrid. My brother got a Prius 1 year before I got my TCH. I chose the TCH coz it's bigger and looks awesome! As the price of gas goes higher and higher, it makes me feel better and smarter for getting a hybrid. Trust me, you won't regret getting the TCH!
