Default Alloy Wheels on Camry Hybrid

I have some questions about wheels. Hope you guys can help me out.

1. What is the benefits of having alloy wheels? Chrome Wheels? Titanium Wheels?
2. What does a bigger wheel do to Camry Hybrid? Does it increase FE? Handling?
3. What kind of wheels would you recommend if you were to do an upgrade to 18"?
4. What is a good performance tires that you recommend for Camry Hybrid for handling, low noisy and comfort?

Thanks in advance.

1. Usually weight. They're lighter than steel wheels. Also, there's less restriction to the design of the wheel (as opposed to the plastic wheel covers which are supposed to.. well cover the steel wheel)

2. it *may* increase handling but it will decrease FE (either b/c it's heavier than the stock wheels or aerodynamic reasons cause it's larger)

3. no idea. I'm not a wheel expert, sorry!

4. No idea... I only know Yokohamas and Toyos as the performance-oriented tyre brands.
