Consider getting a refund on the existing warranty and buying another one from one of the dealers shown in the other threads. I think that, at least, one other member did that.

If the dealer wants to play hardball there is a cancellation clause in the policy. Worst case is it will cost you $25 if you cancel in the first 30 days. Well worth it in your situation.

The current dealer cost as of mid-Aug on 7/100/0 Platinum is $990, and you can buy it at Midwest Superstore for that price. Although schmidtj paid just $695 for the 7/75/0 Platinum in early July, there have been three price increases since, as Toyota figures out the true pricing for the TCH. Those who purchased the plan early got really lucky. Call Midwest for the current price. Then if you think it's worth it, you can cancel any prior agreement that you've made within 30 days of signing with no penalty. After 30 days, then you might have to pay the $25 processing fee, depending on your dealership.

Yes, that would be me. I originally paid 1800 for a 6 year warranty/75K/ 0 ded .... cancelled it and rebought it from Midwest for 7 years/ 75 K/0 ded !!! at only 645. I couldn't have my dealer make a huge profit margin at my expense.

I just paid $745 for mine at Fallon AutoMall - 7/75/0.... I may have been able to do better - but it was just easier as I bought my car through them.... There also seemed to be some confusion with the warranty as a Camry Hybrid vs Prius Hybrid as it appears that it falls under the Prius classification at this time because the Camry Hybrid is not actually in the system yet... But my warranty does state that it is a TCH....
