Hi all: Unfortunately my 2009 TCH is totalled and I am looking for another one. Looking at a few preowned 2015 TCH XLE models with under 40k miles. Any inputs on the common problems with this year and anything I should look out for?

 

water pump was upgraded to a new design, so that is off the list.
About the only thing to be concerned with is high oil consumption. It's still going on those engines. No idea how to test for that during pre purchase review. Maybe slide finger inside the tail pipe and see if it comes out covered in soot.
Otherwise, better bet is always to go with one made in Japan.
